A woman was arrested in Miranda, identified as Evelyn Nataly Pita García (38), after investigating her alleged participation in the murder of her 66-year-old mother Nérida del Valle García Reyes.
The Cicpc report indicates that last Sunday in the house where the mother and daughter reside, located in the Colinas de Betania urbanization, Charallave (Miranda).
Evelyn got upset with her mom because she told her that she would sell one of the houses to provide help for her oldest son. The conflict reached its peak last Sunday when Evelyn, allegedly drunk, hit and strangled her mother to death, according to the Cicpc version.
Once the event occurred, Evelyn presented the event to her siblings as a fall that her mother had suffered. But when she performed an autopsy on her deceased, she revealed mechanical asphyxia and polytrauma.
Based on this result, the Cicpc-Valles del Tuy proceeded to arrest Evelyn and hand her over to the Public Ministry.

In another event, a woman was arrested for her alleged participation in the murder of her husband, which occurred on February 14, the Day of Love and Friendship.
The investigated is registered as Mayerling Luque Tejera (52), who is accused of stabbing her partner Félix Alberto Muñoz (45), which later caused her death in a health center. This event occurred in the residence that both shared located in the Antonio José de Sucre urbanization, Cúa, Miranda.
Before the woman stabbed her husband’s chest, he also tried to hurt her with a machete, in the middle of a prolonged discussion, according to sources.
After being arrested, Mayerling was handed over to the Public Ministry.
