We want them alive, Justice for the Wixárika people and Freedom for our brotherswere some of the phrases captured on the cards by the protesters.

We reiterate that the community of San Andrés Cohamiata is alien to conflicts between organized crime groups, we have characterized ourselves as an ancient town of peace and respect, which has preserved and practiced its uses and customs..

The people will remain in this place waiting for their companions until they appear alive.
