Vice President Delcy Rodríguez met this Tuesday, February 14, with authorities from the CAF Development Bank of Latin America, including its president Sergio Díaz-Granados. No details were released to the media about the meeting.
According to one Press releaseposted on the page of the Vice Presidency, “the purpose of the meeting was to review the joint work agenda that will contribute to sustainable development.”
Carolina España, executive vice president of CAF, Alejandra Claros, general secretary, and Christian Asinelli, corporate vice president of Strategic Programs, also participated in the meeting.
In July 2022, the CAF president also held meetings with the ruler Nicolás Maduroof which no agreements or details signed with the agency were disclosed.

Said report also emphasized that the reduction in trade volumes between Colombia and Venezuela has been particularly profound.
