Without Guazú or Euclides Front, pro-coordination opposition signs agreement

Hoy Paraguay

The absence of the Guazú Front and Euclides Acevedo created a framework of uncertainty regarding the opposition’s total unity to confront the ANR.

The group led by Fernando Lugo decided to submit to conversations between the more than ten groups that make up the Guazú Front, whether or not they accept to compete in the concertation.

Euclides, meanwhile, sent the message that he awaits the formalization of the support of a party, to take a position on the matter.

Among the signatories of this Sunday’s agreement were Efrain Alegre, Sebastian Villarejo, Soledad Nuñez, Martin Burt, among others.

The presentation of the concertation agreement will be made next Tuesday before the Superior Court of Electoral Justice.

In sectors of the opposition they mentioned that the share of uncertainty that the Guazú Front contributes is part of a strategy to obtain agreements in the future, before projects in Parliament.

In addition to this, the frentistas exhibit gestures that they are not entirely satisfied to join the ring of concertacionistas.

The entrance Without Guazú or Euclides Front, pro-coordination opposition signs agreement was first published in diary TODAY.
