A budget execution of 91.7%, showed the public sector according to the comptroller of the Republic, Gerardo Solís, who explained in the Cabinet Council that the Central Government was superior with 94.4%.

He highlighted that the Ministry of Social Development ranked first in execution, reaching 99%, the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning 98%, the Ministry of the Presidency 98%, the Ministry of Agricultural Development 97%, the Ministry of Government 97% , Ministry of Education 96% and the Ministry of Security 95%.

“This execution not only demonstrates efficiency, but is also guaranteed with the seal of the Culture of Correctness, implemented by the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR) during this administration based on two points: doing the right thing from the Comptroller’s Office and correcting what that it presents itself with errors”, highlighted Solís.

The comptroller assured that this management was carried out with transparency and without corruption, in addition to the fact that there were advances, no overpricing, or cost overruns.

Solís also said that the State payroll decreased both in the number of people, and in the money that the State disburses monthly.

He stressed that in 2019, there were a total of 279 thousand 288 officials, which represented a monthly outlay of 464 million 723 thousand 669 balboas; while in November 2022, the payroll was for an amount of 276 thousand 776 employees, for a monthly amount of 456 million 537 thousand 425 balboas, which represents 8 million fewer balboas per month and 2,512 fewer employees.

The management of the State during 2022, showed one million 052 thousand 402 documents of fiscal affectation with a value of 45 thousand 650 million balboas, of those 91% were duly processed; Therefore, out of 100,000 documents, only 9.8% required correction, for a value of 2,280 million balboas, that is, 5% of the value of all the documentation of tax involvement.

Of these, 83,000 documents were successfully corrected for 1,700 million balboas, in such a way that the high budget execution of the government evidenced at the end of the year 2022, that 98.4% of the documents satisfactorily passed each one of the inspection evaluations. previous.
