Without Censor wins APCA Award for best TV program

The program Uncensoredfrom the TV Brasilwas recognized as the winner of the APCA 2024 Award, organized by the São Paulo Association of Art Critics, in the category of Best Television Program.Without Censor wins APCA Award for best TV program

Presented by Cissa Guimarães, the production stood out among the nominees and gained recognition from one of the most traditional and respected cultural awards in the country.

THE Uncensored is shown from Monday to Thursday, live, from 4pm to 6pm and has special editions every Friday, at the same time.

“This recognition reaffirms the success of resuming the Uncensored in a new format, which brought audience, relevance and a unique contribution to the programming of the TV Brasil”, stated Jean Lima, CEO of Brazilian Communication Company (EBC).

The other nominees in the same category were: Right Company (RedeTV!), Lady Night (Multishow), Falas Project (Globo) and What’s This Story, Porchat? (GNT). APCA’s TV commission is made up of Cristina Padiglione, Edianez Parente, Fábio Costa, Fabio Maksymczuk, José Armando Vannucci, Leão Lobo, Neuber Fischer, Paulo Gustavo Pereira, Tellé Cardim and Vitor Moreno.

The Prize

Since 1956, APCA has recognized, through awards, professional excellence in areas such as architecture, visual arts, dance, literature, fashion, classical music, popular music, radio, theater, children’s theater and television.

The television area became part of the APCA Award in 1972. This is one of the most important and traditional trophies in Brazil. In 2012, the EBC competed for the award with the program Artist’s Artby playwright and actor Aderbal Freire-Filho.
