From when can you withdraw from the AFP fund?
It is not yet possible to know the dates for the disbursement of the money for the same reason that there is no official consultation platform. First the project has to be approved in the plenary session of the Congress of the Republic and then more details will be announced.
However, the initial proposal established that the disbursement will be made in three parts as follows:
- First disbursement of up to 1 UIT: within a maximum period of 30 calendar days after submitting the request to the AFP.
- Second disbursement of up to 1 UIT: Within a maximum period of 30 calendar days.
- Third disbursement for the remaining requested amount of up to 2 UIT: Within a maximum period of 30 calendar days.

Although the opinion of the withdrawal of AFP has already been approved by the Economy Commission of the Congress of the Republic, it is still pending that the Plenary of Congress submit it to a vote and approve it.
Once this project is approved, it would become a Law from the day after its publication in the Official Gazette El Peruano.
In this regard, Silvia Monteza, president of the Congress Economy Commission, informed that the date on which the approval of the regulation would be debated will be April 28.
“The opinion that allows contributors and former contributors to the AFP to access 4 UIT of their funds, will be seen in the plenary session on April 28. And I believe that there it will have the same consensus that it had in the Economy Commission. It is a good sign that the Board of Spokespersons has exonerated the publication, ”he maintained.
