With rallies and a caravan to El Helicoide they celebrate releases and demand freedom

After being released, political leaders arrived in a caravan to El Helicoide to demand the freedom of all political prisoners.

With rallies, caravans and family gatherings, Venezuelans in several states of the country celebrated the release of at least 30 political prisoners this Sunday, February 8.

In Caracas, the meeting began in the El Paraíso parish, in the Libertador municipality where residents gathered to receive former councilor Jesús Armas.

“Today, with more force than much before, we tell you with dignity that you did not break us, that we did not bow down, that we are not going to obey and what comes from now on is a tireless fight until we achieve freedom,” Armas said.

Juan Pablo Guanipa later arrived at the site.

«I agree with reconciliation, but starting from the recognition of the truth. Democracy is the government of the majority with respect for minorities…” Guanipa stated in his speech.

The leader of Primero Justicia thanked God and pointed out to those present that the task at this time in the present and towards the future is “immense, very great and it is a task that we all have to carry out in unity. “I bet on unity, I bet that together we can design the country we want and Chavismo has to have space in the Venezuela that we want to build.”
