The single dialogue table was resumed on Thursday four hours late, in order to continue debating the issues that concern the Social Security Fund (CSS).
With the passing of the hours there was no progress on this issue, since the alliances took that time to denounce that the issues agreed on at the table, such as the basic basket, fuel and medicines, are not being complied with.
Fernando Castañedas of the Association of Doctors, Dentists and Related Professionals of the Social Security Fund (Amoacss), said that the Government does not take the table seriously and “wants to make those of the alliances dizzy so as not to get to the issue of corruption ” .
At 8:00 pm, a recess was decreed to then return to discuss the CSS issue.
The group returned from the break after 10:30 pm, and after 45 minutes they decide to suspend the dialogue until this Friday at 9:00 am
Before concluding, Edwin Salamín, general secretary of the CSS, stated that upon returning, it must be decided whether the proposal of the social movements or that of the Government on the CSS is viable and the alliances must give an answer on the invitation of the National Government to that the three groups join the plenary table of the National Dialogue by the CSS convened in December 2020.
The social movements asked the representatives of the Executive that officials from Acodeco come to the dialogue table this Friday to analyze why the agreements agreed on the basic basket, medicines and fuel are not being complied with.
