Santo Domingo.– The president of the PEOPLE FORCE (FP), Leonel Fernández, He began the voting plenary of the Ordinary National Congress “Dr. Franklin Almeyda Rancier”, Being the first to exercise his right to vote.
With this act, he marked the beginning of the democratic process in which the party members will decide on the 35 documented proposals that cover various strategic areas of the organization.
At the end of his vote, Fernández highlighted the importance of this exercise, highlighting the technological innovation implemented in the process.
“I have finished exercising the right to vote of the different Proposals of the thematic themed tables, and the truth is that it is a great experience to see the technological development that our party has had, ”he said.
The FP leader explained that the system allows militants to access documents digitally, analyze them and cast their vote transparently and efficiently.
“TOdas The proposals appear through the documentsso that colleagues can download the documents, read them and then, from there, exercise the vote, whether they approve it or do not approve it.
It is a magnificent exercise that we have seen here, and I believe that it is first order, from the technological point of view, which I have been able to observe in this vote, ”he said.
In this plenary, which will take place from Thursday 13 to Monday, February 18, party delegates will have the opportunity to vote On 21 thematic tables and 12 work submeasions, whose debates have resulted in 32 documents, in addition to the reports of the Situational Diagnostic Subcommission of the Party, the Subcommission of Electoral Diagnosis and the audit subcommission of the register of members and agencies.
This process will allow defining the route map of the force of the people, consolidating its structure and strategic guidelines within the democratic system of the country. Finally, Leonel Fernández urged militancy to actively participate in the plenary and take advantage of the technological platform ready for this voting process.

Validation criteria to exercise vote in the virtual plenary through a press release, the Force of the people informed that, in accordance with the instructive of the Virtual Plenary of Congress, to guarantee the transparency and legitimacy of the process, those members who comply with the following validation criteria will be enabled to vote to vote:
1.- Enabled members: The members of the Central Directorate, the Provincial Directorates, of Circumscriptions, Municipal and District, as well as the Base Directorates may be exercised.
2.- Member Audit: The Ministry of Organization of the Party conducted an audit of the members enabled until February 10, 2025 to guarantee a validated register.
3.- Base addresses: only the presidents of complete and sufficient base addresses created until July 25, 2024 may vote.
Those base addresses created from July 26, 2024 onwards will not be enabled to participate in the vote.
With these provisions, the force of the people reaffirms its commitment to a transparent, orderly and legitimate voting process, guaranteeing the participation of their duly consolidated structures.
