With insults and stones fired congresswoman Esmeralda Limachi in Tacna

The parliamentarian reached the La Yarada-Los Palos district without imagining that she would have to run away due to the rejection of the population who called her a murderer.

Tense moments were experienced in the town of La Yarada-Los Palos, Tacna region, when an angry mob fired the congresswoman from the place Emerald Limachi, of the Democratic Peru party. Stoned and among various qualifiers, The parliamentarian fled the scene aboard a van. At the scene were police officers, who tried to keep the situation from getting out of control.

The events occurred after the meeting that the parliamentarian had with the National Water Authority (ANA) and groups of farmers at a work table set up to discuss the formalization of the use of water (well) in the district of La Yarada – Los Sticks.

but what happened

Limachi Quispe, congressman for Tacna, began his work last Monday, February 20, within the framework of Representation Week. It is for this reason that he met with various public authorities and social organizations in the aforementioned region.

It was in this context that on February 23 and 24, meetings and a work table were arranged in the district of La Yarada – Los Palos to talk with various farmers’ unions. Among those present were agro-industrial associations such as “El Pedregal”, “Los Olivares”, among others.
