Paraguayan midfielder Fabíola Sandoval, from Avaí/Kindermann, was the protagonist of this Sunday (20) afternoon for the third round of the A1 Series (first division) of the Brazilian Women’s Championship. The 22-year-old player hit the net four times in Leoas Avaianas’ 5-2 rout against Esmac-PA, at the Salézio Kindermann stadium, in Caçador (SC).

The first victory in this year’s edition of the Brazilian took the Santa Catarina to eighth place, in the classification zone to the next phase, with four points. The Paraenses, who suffered the third defeat in three rounds, occupy the lantern of the competition.
The hosts took the lead in the 22nd minute of the first half, with forward Raquel taking advantage of a hit in the area. At 42, the midfielder Vilma kicked cross and Sandoval completed for the nets, making her first in the afternoon. The partnership worked in a similar way in the 14th minute of the final stage, again with a goal from Paraguay. Esmac scored ten minutes later, with attacking midfielder Lorraine Caixeta taking a free-kick.
At 34, however, Vilma again appeared on the side of the field and crossed low for Sandoval to conclude, marking her third in the game. Two minutes from the end of regulation time, in another free kick, Lorraine Caixeta scored the second for the people of Pará. The team from the federal capital went to six points and rose to fifth place, and could be overtaken in the round if São Paulo and Flamengo win their respective commitments against Internacional and Ferroviária, this Monday (21). Bragantinas remain at zero, in the penultimate position, surpassing Esmac in goal difference.
At the Martins Pereira stadium, in São José dos Campos (SP), São José and Cresspom-DF drew 2-2. Unlike the game in Brasília, it was the Federal District team that scored 2-0, with goals from midfielder Thaynara. and striker Keké, yielding the reaction to the São Paulo rival. Midfielder Larissa Vasconcelos and defender Karen (in extra time) avoided the defeat of the Meninas da Águia.
The joseenses occupy the ninth place of the competition, with the same four points of Avaí/Kindermann, being behind in the goal difference. Cresspom appears in 14th and antepenultimate position, with a point won.
