As happened a week ago in Parque Lezama and Parque Patricios, Demonstrations in support of the former president were held this Saturday in Plaza Boedo -Carlos Calvo and Sánchez Loria-, in Plaza Giordano Bruno -Honorio Pueyrredón and Sarmiento railway tracks- and in Plaza Pappo de Villa Miterwhere the epicenter of these calls took place.

“We are here because we understand that Cristina must be bankrupted. Lawfare is trying to change the will of the people, not with direct and brutal force, but with other mechanisms. They attack us with judges to ban, silence, imprison and discipline us. And we confused with the media to discredit and generate hatred,” said the national senator of the FdT Mariano Recaldespeaking at the event that took place in the plaza located at Juan B. Justo and Boyacá, in the neighborhood of Villa Miter.

In this sense, the legislator and head of the Justicialist Party (PJ) of the City of Buenos Aires considered that the real power “needs that there be no politics” and that is why they long to “eliminate the State.”

“History tells us that transforming the country is very difficult. Those who do it are persecuted. They want to give you the feeling of impossibility”claudia neira

“They are in a ‘judicial war’ that intensified with this trial (that of public works) that is reaching its final stage. They summoned Cristina to Comodoro Py to put her in jail and they did not do it because there was a town that was there. No We know what would have happened if that shot came out. They have been harassing her for a long time, a permanent attack that she resisted with a greatness that few have, “said Recalde in relation to the assassination attempt against the former president.

For the senator, in the trial for public works in Santa Cruz, the prosecutors and the judges of the Federal Oral Court number 2 “They went too far and instead of arousing hatred they aroused the indignation of a people who felt the need to bank Cristina”.

“(Former President Mauricio) Macri said that he would sit down with the Constitution in hand to speak with Cristina. But the Constitution speaks of the principle of innocence and the judiciary and the media have already declared Cristina guilty, without evidence or prior trial. “, he remarked.

Young militants and families gathered around a stage set up on Juan B. Justo avenue under the slogan “everyone with Cristina”, while they shared mates and sang slogans characteristic of the Kirchnerist liturgy.

The Buenos Aires legislator of the FdT, claudia neirarecalled when taking the floor in this act that during the meeting that the Vice President held this week in the Senate with the group of Priests in Option for the Poor, the attack suffered in 1929 by President Hipólito Yrigoyen, who was also the target of “of persecution for absolutely absurd acts of corruption”.

“The persecution was not born with Yrigoyen or with Peronism. It comes from long before. Most of the heroes died in exile. History tells us that transforming the country is very difficult. Those who do it are persecuted. They want to make you feel of impossibility”pointed out the legislator.

“They attack us with judges to proscribe, silence, imprison and discipline. And they confuse us with the media to discredit and generate hatred”Mariano Recalde

The legislator of the FdT also expressed himself in the act Matias Barrotavenawho recalled that this week the former president asked “to take care of the democratic consensus of 1983.”

“It is important to consolidate democracy because hate speech crosses the border and tries to legitimize insults and aggression. We have to stop the ball. Non-violence is the only way. It is what the people need,” he said.

For her part, the lawyer and teacher Natalia Salvo added that “unresolved things from the past return to be resolved”.

“We defend democracy regardless of the passion we feel for Cristina. We do not want a political project to be persecuted. The dispute must be given from within with joy and heart, but within the spaces. I invite you to take this discussion to the field of law that It has always been a space for the few,” stressed the lawyer.

In Boedo Squarethe national deputy of the FdT for the city of Buenos Aires Leander Santoro he assured that “the most concentrated sectors of power manipulated the people, generating divisions.”

At the event, a table was set up with the poster “Todos con Cristina”, from where referents of the FdT spoke, among them, Lisandro Teszkiewicz, general auditor of the city of Buenos Aires.

“We are not defending the interests exclusively of one sector of the country. The attack against Cristina was not against Peronism or Kirchnerism. It was an attack against democracy, against the elementary rules of coexistence,” Santoro remarked. during his speech.

The militancy took over the Pappo square in an afternoon of mates and reflection in support of Cristina Kirchner

The militancy of the City of Buenos Aires met again in the Pappo square, in Villa Miter, to express their support for Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in a meeting characterized by rounds of mate, slogans and banners in support of the former president on a spring day.

Before starting the act, the murga ´Los Insaciables de La Paternal´, which rehearses every Saturday in that place, accompanied the wait from noon with the music of the drums and the dance.

“The murga has been rehearsing for 23 years in this square (located on Juan B. Justo and Boyacá) we do it from 4 to 6 pm, but we knew that the act was there so we changed the schedule. Although our murga never touched anyone’s hype, We are obviously national and popular. We all got drunk to come today, no one got off, “the director of the murga Paola Villani told Télam.

The woman also highlighted the role of the murgas who “are Peronists by birth” and who know how to use joy and street art to “denounce, be the voice of the people and make claims visible.”

“I’m 40 years old and I’ve been in the murga since I was 15. It’s the space where I learned to be a soldier, I’m from the Justicialist Party because street art was always frowned upon. We were always blacks, drunks and villeros, but here we find the space to raise our voices,” he remarked.

At the end of their rehearsal, the murga was dismissed with loud applause and several of its members -including ´Polo´- stayed to listen to the speakers.

The joy of the meeting was also accompanied by the speakers of the stage set up in the square from where songs by Argentine artists such as Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, Luis Alberto Spinetta and rapper Wos were heard.

Street vendors who set up stalls to offer pins, cushions, cups and other objects with the images of Peronist leaders were also present.

Among them was the artisan Laly Baliner, who at these calls usually offers cloth dolls that she makes and that represent politicians, philosophers and soccer players.

“I am a visual artist and I make these dolls 12 years ago. I started making them when my children were very young and they wanted to have dolls of characters that were important to them, but that we could not find on the market,” the artisan told Télam .

It was thus that Laly began with this undertaking in which she has already made 10,000 dolls and which she sells at partisan calls as well as at “acts of militancy”.

“Until 2015, I occasionally worked at fairs, but my main job was in businesses, shops and museums. With the arrival of the macrismo, in two years, everything went to waste and they began to close the businesses one after the other. That’s why we went out to the squares,” recalled Laly when asked about her beginnings in street vending.

Among the dolls that she exhibits –and which can also be purchased online– the figure of the Vice President stands out, who is always “the best-selling doll, whatever the time of year.”

Around 5:00 p.m., the youngest militants sat on the floor of the square in front of the stage to listen to the act.

While several older adults placed their deckchairs or used some chairs provided by the organization, the rest remained standing.

The act was announced at 4:00 p.m. and began at 5:00 p.m. with the words of the high school student and general secretary of the National Network of Student Centers (Renace), Camila Carrillo, who recalled the presence of youth at the commemorations that were held yesterday for the anniversary of “La Noche de Los Lápices”.

Camila also valued in her speech the “importance of democracy for all the Argentine people” in this context that the country is experiencing after the assassination attempt on the Vice President.

“We young people don’t want to leave the country. We are building the present and understanding the responsibility of building the future. The future is with Cristina,” he said.

Next, the Buenos Aires senator, the president of the PJ of the City, Mariano Recalde, the Buenos Aires legislators Claudia Neira and Matías Barroetaveña and the lawyer and teacher Natalia Salvo began their speeches.

They chose to sit on the edge of the stage to mark the closeness with the public, which was quite participatory and even intervened on some occasions, expressing a comment or consideration.

During the act there were some problems with the audio, so the speeches had to be interrupted in three moments.

The militancy took advantage of these spaces to sing among all: “Gorilla is not going to reach you / the gasoline is not going to give you / if they touch Cristina / what a mess it is going to be.”

At the end of the meeting, the public gathered there stayed talking and several of those present took the opportunity to take a photo with the leaders who stayed to say hello and chat about some of the problems experienced by the residents of the City of Buenos Aires.

In this way, at 6:00 pm, another afternoon of meeting between the militancy and leaders who defend the path of unity and the mobilization to support Cristina Fernández de Kirchner concluded.
