Using a tool called a “clipper picks up objects”, thieves have been making their own in various commercial establishments in the city of Bogotá.

This type of robbery has already been seen for several years in Colombia.
In 2019, a security camera recorded the exact moment when a subject who was inside a shopping center located on Avenida Caracas in Bogotá, stole the seller’s cell phone in this way.
The thief stretched the “object picker” to the maximum and, pressing the lever, managed to grab the object that was at a medium distance.
