The team led by coach Rogério Ceni even opened the scoring, in the 38th minute of the first half with Reinaldo in penalty kick. However, the home team needed only five minutes to leave everything even on the scoreboard, thanks to a goal by Alex Silva.
From there, the confrontation was open. And the final result was only defined in the 44th minute of the final stage, when the Argentine Calleri took advantage of the leftover ball to take a bicycle to guarantee the victory of São Paulo with a great goal.
Now, Tricolor do Morumbi returns to play for the competition on Saturday (5), in the classic with Corinthians. On the same day, Água Santa visits Ponte Preta.
