Winners of the National Craft Award

Undersecretary Verri recognized their quality work and assured that MIEM will continue to support this growing sector. The winning pieces can be visited at Cerrito 351, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with free admission.

The Craft Development Area of ​​the National Directorate of Crafts, Small and Medium Enterprises (Dinapyme) of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM); the Ministry of Education and Culture, through its National Directorate of Culture; and the National Handicrafts Advisory Commission organized the award ceremony of the National Craft Award 2022 and the opening of the exhibition that includes all the award-winning pieces in two categories.

The event was attended by the undersecretary of MIEM, Walter Verri; the national director of Industries, Susana Pecoy; the national director of Culture, Mariana Wainstein; and the Dinapyme office manager, Ana Inés Antía. In addition, the general director of the MIEM Secretariat, Elisa Facio; the national director of Mining and Geology, Marcelo Pugliesi; the national director of Industrial Property, Santiago Martínez; the manager of Dinapyme’s Craft Development Area, Mauro Escudero; the vice president of BROU, Alejandro Lafluf; and the second vice president of that banking institution, Max Sapolinksi. Also present were artisans recognized for their high-quality work.
