The 21-year-old Japanese violinist, Hina Maeda, winner of the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition, the most prestigious in the world and held every five years in Poland, will perform in concert on April 20 at the National Theater accompanied by the Orchestra National Symphony (OSN).
The event that will begin at 7:00 p.m. is part of the OSN concert season and also as part of the events to celebrate 90 years of diplomatic relations between Panama and Poland.
The Minister of Culture, Giselle González, when highlighting the importance of the presentation of the young violinist, thanked the initiative made by the Polish ambassador in Panama Leszek Bialy to achieve the presence of the artist in Panama.
González Villarrué stressed that “Panama is taking firm steps in the construction of a Ministry of Culture that with international collaboration can give first-world shows”, since Panama is the starting point for the presentation of the violinist who will later perform in Colombia and Brazil.
As the Polish diplomat in Panama, Leszek Bialy pointed out that the artist will interpret well-known Polish pieces highlighting the culture of that country.
