Wingo becomes the second airline to return to Panama Pacifico and will serve, from this airport, flights to Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
This Thursday, September 1, the Wingo airline resumed its operations at the remodeled Panama Pacific Airport with a 139-passenger flight to the city of Medellin.
The general manager of the Tocumen International Airport, Raffoul Arab, said that the operations of this area company will be six daily flights, while at the Tocumen International Airport there will be two flights on Thursdays.
He stressed that the Panama Pacific airport represents an important terminal for tourism, passengers who come for shopping, beach tourism, “and it is an important injection for the national economy.”

The Panama Pacific International Airport resumed its operations on July 28, with two (2) weekly flights from Quito via Guayaquil, through the Aeroregional airline, after going through a remodeling period valued at more than one million dollars, which included improvements in public areas, departure and arrival halls, baggage belts, commercial spaces, migration and general renovation of the infrastructure.
