Wilson Soto: "Eight months have passed and so far the government has done absolutely nothing for Huancavelica"

Popular Action congressman Palacios expressed his indignation that during the eight months of Pedro Castillo’s government there was nothing concrete in favor of the Huancavelica region.

“There is a rain of commitments, but I hope that the government complies, because to date, eight months have passed and they have done absolutely nothing for Huancavelica,” said Soto Palacios.

He added: “More than promises, as a responsible opposition congressman, I would tell the government to comply and not defraud Huancavelica, in the second round the Huancavelicans strongly supported it with 88%, but, to date, as a parliamentarian I have not seen an emblematic work, there is no concrete fact for Huancavelica”.

Likewise, he said that he also asked for the Huancavelica airport, which has been mentioned for several years, and that President Castillo asked the transport minister to move forward with the file.

In these days, the presidential vacancy motion against Pedro Castillo will be seen in Congress, and the parliamentarian for Huancavelica, of Popular Action, said that he has not yet decided whether he will vote for or against.

“First we have to listen to the defenses of the president, before we will meet and analyze in the caucus, I could not get ahead of myself because we always vote as a block in Popular Action,” said the parliamentarian from Acobamba.
