The Deputy Attorney Wilson Camacho, director of the Persecution Attorney’s Office, said Friday that, according to the evidence, shot dead of five men in a commercial square in La Barranquita, in Santiago, allegedly at the hands of 11 agents of the National Police, it was a “Extrajudicial execution”.
“The evidence that the Public Ministry has collected, so far, indicate that the death of these five people in the Barranquita was an extrajudicial execution,” said the magistrate before the members of the press that cover the source of the Palace of Justice of the City of Heart.
Camacho said the older Álvaro Paredes Paniagua and Hansel Michel Cuevas Carrasco; Captain José Ignacio Gómez Rodríguez; the second Lieutenant Domingo de los Santos Vargas; Los Cabos Yohandy Encarnación, Geyser Francisco Álvarez Rodríguez and César Augusto Martínez Trinidad; Sergeant Major Socrates Fidel Féliz Féliz; Sergeant Hairo Mateo Morillo, and the Rasos Adrián Miguel Villalona Pineda and José Octavio Jiménez Peña, performed various maneuvers to try Delete evidence that link them with the case that occurred on the afternoon of September 10.
“The accused stole the videos of the fact, stole phones and have generated other maneuvers in order to obstruct the investigation and hide the truth,” he said.
The magistrate also said that the Public Ministry has the firm decision to bring this investigation to the last consequences.
“We are not going to allow facts of this nature to be unpunished and we will seek justice, both for victims and their families,” Wilson Camacho warned.

They postpone coercion
Similarly, the director of the Persecution Attorney’s Office reported that the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention of the Province of Santiago postponed for the next Thursday October 9 The knowledge of the request for coercion measure against the eleven police officers.
He explained that the court took the measure in order for agents’ lawyers to have time to study the accusatory file and so that the relatives of the victims may be present.
“A deadline to analyze the large amount of evidence presented by the Public Ministry and socialize those evidence with their representatives,” he said.
What the Public Ministry asks for
The Public Ministry requests that the group – imputed by MALHECHORES ASSOCIATION AND VOLUNTARY HOMICIDE to the detriment of Elvis Antonio Martínez Rodríguez (Deivito), 26; Julio Alberto Gómez (the table), 28; Carlos Enrique Guzmán Navarro (El Charly and/or Charli Chasc), 40; Edward Bernardo Peña Rodríguez, 35; and José Vladimir Valerio Estévez, 25 years old – are imposed 18 months of pretrial detention and that the case is declared complex.
The Attorney General’s Office granted to the case the provisional legal qualification of violation of articles 265, 266, 295 and 304 of the Dominican Criminal Code, which typify the Association of Malhechores and the voluntary homicide.
