For Bermúdez, with this mayor’s office, when something starts, it is not known how it will end, so you have to be aware “In principle, what the municipal agreement says is that this is going to be tendered, it makes a lot of noise for us and we have to be on top of it. an amount of 2.9 million, I cannot be against the Christmas lighting that I am sure is a spectacle, it must be done with transparency and the best possible and that it reaches all corners of the capital city, being objective it is a quite amount high, however, it is going to tender and you have to see how the bidding documents come about, according to what the mayor says, if they do it by direct contracting that is another issue and that if you have to attack it with everything ».
On the issue of decentralization, where President Cortizo said over the weekend that he “did not handle that”, Bermúdez considers that “talking about community boards with few inhabitants, at least half of those in the Don Bosco corregimiento who are 50,000, but there are boards that have half that and have given them 14 million dollars, how those 14 million were spent and how the quality of life of its inhabitants has improved, we at Don Bosco have received zero, not a single dollar from decentralization ».
