The member of the Dialogue Commission, William Castillo reiterated that the dialogue should be extended to all sectors of the country.
In a pass broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, Castillo said that the dialogue “has to continue with all social sectors such as communes, grassroots social organizations, which have many things to say.”
Regarding the dialogue process in Mexico, Castillo expressed “we have entered a stage where dialogue is an instrument to advance, create solutions for the Venezuelan people, as the Venezuelan delegation stated since August last year, when the Memorandum of Understanding”.
He recalled that among the seven points of the Memorandum, “the first point raised by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was the need to begin to recover the country’s resources and assets blocked abroad to provide a solution to the Venezuelan people, while advancing on an agenda quite long and complex.
Castillo explained that with this second Agreement, “that mandate begins to materialize, basically in the commitment of the kidnappers, who are the United States government, international banks, and all the political scaffolding that attacked Venezuela. This has promised to release three billion dollars, for a program presented by the Government that is endorsed by technicians in the field of electricity, health, education, and food.
In this sense, he indicated that “we are going to a phase of concretion, of creating the Fund, through the support of the United Nations Organization. We are in the discussion phase of the documents, we have held meetings to specify the administrative steps. And to be able to demand the release of resources”.
The member of the Commission pointed out that the institutions of the National Government participate in the program, with the accompaniment of the UN organizations, the Pan American Health Organization, the United Nations Development Program, the World Food Program “the The agreement is signed, the political will is expressed and the commitment of the Unitary Platform, like the United States Government, which are the kidnappers.

Finally, Castillo stressed that the UN has always recognized the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, “the mechanism that is being sought is understanding the situation of the blockade.”
