The Single Court of Violence against Women of the Falcón State decreed a sentence consisting of 9 years and 4 months in prison for Alejandro Alonso Guanipa Medina (30) after he admitted his responsibility in the sexual abuse committed against a 10 -year -old girl and a 12 -year -old teenager, the Public Ministry said.
Such incident occurred on January 6, 2024 within a house located in the Miranda municipality (choir) of the Falcón state. During the aforementioned day, Guanipa Medina was at the victims’ home. While the young women slept, he entered the room and touched his genitals. When he noticed what happened, the girl woke up scared and the perpetrator fled from the room.
The next day, the man entered the room again to take his underwear and touch the intimate parts to the teenager; who woke up and told his grandmother what had happened. Consequently, a relative of both victims (who are cousins) moved to the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (Cicpc) to formulate the complaint.
As a result of the complaint and preliminary inquiries related to the facts, Guanipa Medina was apprehended on January 8, 2024 in the Bobare sector of the city of Santa Ana de Coro; to be made available to the Public Ministry.
In the trial, the Falcón 10th Prosecutor’s Office ratified the accusation against Guanipa Medina for the Sexual Abuse Commission without penetration to the detriment of both victims.
