After Wright’s arrival in Caracas, after 10:30 am, Dogu indicated that the visit of the Secretary of Energy to the country is key to advancing President Donald Trump’s vision for Venezuela.
“The US private sector will be essential to boost the oil sector, modernize the electrical grid and unlock the enormous potential of Venezuela,” said the official at the account from the United States Embassy in Venezuela.
The stay of the Secretary of Energy, which represents the highest level visit focused on energy policy from Washington to Caracas in almost 30 years, will be until Friday, with meetings scheduled with the interim president, Delcy Rodríguez, officials of the interim government and representatives of international companiesamong them Chevron and the Spanish Repsol.
