The regional governor of Ayacucho, the president’s ‘wayki’ Dina Boluarte, Wilfredo Oscorimareappeared today at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – which occupies a wing of the Government Palace – where he participated in a day of dialogue with a view to holding the APEC Economic Leaders Week.
Upon leaving the ministerial headquarters, Oscorima was approached by journalists and there he denied having given the president dresses for her public presentations, as Pedro Castillo’s former advisor, Henry Shimabukuro, would have maintained.
“You already know who Henry Shimabukuro is, no one believes him. (…) It’s a lie,” he responded with a nervous smile.

The regional governor of Ayacucho also did not want to comment on the new presidential vacancy motion that has begun to circulate in Parliament for the collection of signatures. “That is not my issue, it is a Congress issue,” he said.
Likewise, when asked about the performance of his ‘wayki’ within the framework of the APEC forum, he responded: “Despite all the difficulties, I think it will move forward and will benefit the country.”
Faced with the harassment of journalists who kept asking him about the president, Oscorima replied: “Can you ask me about a more important issue in the country.”
The regional authority, it is recalled, is investigated by the Public Ministry for the alleged crime of generic active bribery following the delivery of Rolex brand watches and jewelry to President Boluarte.
The delivery of these gifts also coincided with an increase in the budget assigned to their region.
Asked about a possible re-election to the regional government, Oscorima refused to respond.
