The governor of Ayacucho, Wilfredo Oscorimatook advantage of his participation in the IV National Congress of Regional Councilors to talk about his relationship with the president Dina Boluarte in the Rolex case.
Despite the boos of those present, Oscorima expressed his disagreement with the inspection processes he faces. “We have the Comptroller General of the Republic on us, which is persecuting us as if we were thieves and we are being denounced. I’m not afraid of him, I’ve told the comptroller himself,” he said.
However, the most controversial moment came when the governor admitted to having lent Rolex watches to President Boluarte and described this action as a mistake.
“There will be mistakes, there is nothing perfect in this life (…). Among other things, one of my mistakes and I admit it here is having lent Rolex watches to the President of the Republic. Believe me or not, that doesn’t matter to me,” he said.
