The NGO VE Sin Filtro reported on Saturday, July 27, that the Wikipedia page was blocked on Digitel and NetUno, two of the most important Internet providers in Venezuela.

Wikipedia is a digital encyclopedia available on the Internet. It is a free and open access publication, with more than 15 million articles written by volunteers in more than 200 languages.
“This https block is intended to prevent the loading of updates to www.wikipedia⸱org and es.wikipeia⸱org,” VE Sin Filtro noted.
On July 22, the web portals of SuchWhich, The Stimulus, Medianalisis, Runrunes, Analytics and VE Without Filter were blocked by orders of the National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel).
14 pages have been blocked since the election campaign began on July 4, according to the record kept by VE without Filtera non-governmental organization that has been monitoring Internet restrictions in the country for at least a decade.
