Social networks serve to agglutinate, manifest and harangue. But the ultimate goal of every protest is still taking the streets. In this country, “the law of the street” is still imposed, the only one that is respected when the potatoes burn. And although the right has copied the Chilean and Argentine scripts, the left still has almost the monopoly of outrage and protest.
The right has no street. It is enough to remember Wong’s corses against Castillo, with more vans than people and children with ‘fachacos’ who had never smelled a tear. And, when the right has a street, unfortunately it becomes the pestilence, because it is not strategic. Attack libraries, exhibitions and presentations at book fairs. And there the left – which controls cultural capital – is responsible for highlighting the B in the DBA.
It is not the first time that the right is allowed to snatch the street. A few months ago, an antaur militant represented carriers and merchants marching claiming security, a typically right flag. Few demands as capitalist as asking to work. And yet, the radical left achieved the unthinkable: beat him to the right on his own court, taking a strike of drivers and winemakers – that is, of popular capitalists – who ask for a hard hand.
Today, the right insists on error. While the left sells ideals, the right offers realism. While the left throws radical promises, the right asks for stability. While the left -hander asks for paradise on earth, the right chooses the status quo. If the right does not want the Gene generation Have the zurda Z, the shoes must be dirty and take the streets. And, above all, it must shake the flag of change.
