Santo Domingo.– The Price Stabilization Institute (Inespre) reported that it will have 80 thousand pounds of chicken during the Great Agricultural Fair, which will be held from this Friday, December 19 to Sunday, December 21 in the Livestock City, as part of its sales program at affordable prices.
The announcement was made by the director of the entity, David Herrera Díaz, who explained that the chickens will be sold whole, with a weight greater than four poundsat a price of 200 pesos per unit.
Herrera Díaz indicated that the marketing of this and other products will be carried out during business hours. 9:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoonand that attendees will also be able to purchase foods such as pork legs, rice, oil, beans, garlic, onion, as well as different items and vegetables, which will be offered directly from the producer to the consumer.
The official indicated that this initiative is part of the program Christmas Breezepromoted by the Presidency of the Republic, and highlighted the positive reception it has had in different locations in the country.
According to what was reported, the project has benefited residents of Santo Domingo Este, San Cristóbal, Higüey, Santiago, Montecristi and Azua, providing them with access to quality products at affordable prices.
Likewise, he specified that the fairs will continue on the days December 22 and 23 in San Juan, and 27 and 28 December in Villa Altagracia.
Finally, the director of Inespre invited the population of Greater Santo Domingo to visit the fair starting this Friday in the Livestock City.
