Nile Burga Malca 69 years old was the president of the board of directors of the Peruvian company Frigoincaknown for producing the canned goods of the ‘Don Simón’ brand.
Burga Malca was born in the district of Chepén, in La Libertad. Its relationship as a State supplier, according to the Central Public Procurement Platform, began in 2019 when it obtained contracts with the Qali Warma program of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis).

His lawyer, César Euscátegui, has said that the businessman would have taken his own life. But later, he hinted that he had been killed as Peru21 reported.

BURGA MALCA WAS IN DEBT
Peru21 was able to learn, according to the financial report of the risk entities, the company had a low rating and that Burga Malca had poorly rated debts with two banking entities. The amount amounted to 71 thousand soles.
Our sources indicate that Frigoinca was well rated until the scandal broke out and then its rating worsened.
Frigoinca allegedly distributed adulterated preserves, including horse meat labeled as beef, through Qali Warma. He also used the name of consortiums such as the Tasayco group, Copsa, the Amazon consortium, among others.
Cuarto Poder revealed that, in 2024 alone, Frigoinca achieved contracts and addendums in Ayacucho, Ica and Madre de Dios for 100 million soles.
According to Public Records, this Burga family company, investigated for contracts with Qali Warma, had significant capital growth. In 2017 it had 10 thousand soles, while by 2022 it exceeded 4 million soles.
For 2022, Frigoinca presented itself like this: “We are a leading Peruvian company in the industrial sector, with experience in the meat sector and that has made available to the national and international market a cattle benefit center, a meat processing plant and a processing plant. of high-tech canned meat. 30 contracts were found won in consortium with other companies to distribute their products in the regions of Madre de Dios, La Libertad, Ica, Huánuco, Huancavelica, Cajamarca, Ayacucho, Apurímac, Áncash, among others.
In total, for these contracts, the State has paid close to 88 million soles.
