Who was Alejandro Martinez Noguez?
Alejandro Martínez Noguez, known as “The Son of the Lonely Ranger”, was a journalist from Guanajuato who specialized in crime and crime reports.
Alejandro Martínez had 33 years of journalistic experience. He reported from the Facebook page The Son of the Lonesome Plainsman which has more than 340,000 followers.
He began his career in 1990 in the workshops of the AM Newspaperin the training area.
Within a year he became a sports reporter where he wrote two columns: The people’s voice and Little ball, please. Later, he was a reporter in The National and Mail Newspaperwhere he covered general and police news.
He was also a reporter and correspondent for radio on programs such as That way happens, Teleradio and Radiorama. In addition to being a bureau chief for the newspaper The Herald of Celaya.
Since 2015, he created the page The Son of the Lonesome Plainsman.
Two years ago, Martínez Noguez had already been the victim of an attack.

What happened to the Lonesome Ranger’s Son?
This Sunday, Martínez Noguez was the victim of an armed attack while traveling with escorts from the municipal police of Celayaafter covering an event on the outskirts of the city.
The journalist was in a traffic patrol accompanied by two police officers from the Celaya Citizen Security Secretariat, who were escorting him because he had already been the victim of a previous attack.
