The legislator of Podemos, Kira Alcarraz, will not be remembered in Congress by large laws or to raise the political debate.
His step will be associated, rather, the media scandals in which he was the protagonist.
Last Monday, as expected, congressmen from other allied banks of Podemos, which make up the Ethics Commission, shielded it in front of the most recent and embarrassing questioning against them.
The working group chaired by Elvis Vergara met and decided not to denounce ex officio to the legislator, who, paradoxically, also integrates that commission.
That is, they turned a blind eye. But, with the reflectors of the press on top, they were later going back (seeing trade at the end of the note).
As part of a Willax report released in mid -September, The congresswoman was approached by a reporter in relation to the designation of her son’s couple as coordinator of your congressional office.
In front of the microphone, Alcarraz threw against the journalist Marycielo del Castillo a burst of threatening phrases:
“Look, if I were altered, take it for sure that I was already stamped against the wall. (…) Do not tell me that I am altered because you have not seen me altered, my love. The day you see me altered be sure that you are not going to want to be by your side,” they were the words, nothing cordial, that they shot out of his mouth.
Who is Kira Alcarraz?
For those who do not know her yet, a review of her resume and the most popular episodes that have marked her passage through Congress is worth review.
Yorel Kira Alcarraz Agüero (51) was chosen with 28,404 votes by Somos Peru, by former president Martín Vizcarra.
Just a year later, he left that shirt to wear that of Podemos, his current political house.
According to his curriculum, he does not have higher studies and before making the leap to Parliament he was a motorcycle driver in Villa María del Triunfo.
It was a motorcycle taxi driver
She herself has counted in interviews that she worked by driving the three -wheeled vehicle through the streets of the district, and that from her office continues to meet with motorcycle taxi players and celebrating her day, every May 6.
Before being a congressman, Alcarraz was a motorcycle taxi driver.
Its average income was then about 20 thousand soles a year, that is, around 1,600 soles per month. Today he receives almost ten times more: a congressional salary of 15 thousand soles per month.
Before the incident in which he threatened a journalist, he was the main character of the sound Case ‘Lucky Friend’which came to light at the beginning of September last year.
Other scandals
The Ethics Commission opened investigation to Alcarraz and Congressman Darwin Espinoza, of Popular Action – today in Podemos -, for the hiring of a young woman linked to Espinoza in the office of the legislator. In return, Espinoza would have given the popular action quota in the Ethics Commission.
The case was released in September last year and, fortunately, the members of the group shielded them in a session at the end of that same month, filing the complaint by majority of votes.
As the cherry in the cake of his career, after this year’s last scandal for threatening a journalist, the parliamentarian was challenging and did not apologize.
No regrets
He even published a story on his Instagram account in which it is seen in a room accompanied by seven women and two men. One of them, on their left, shouts in a living voice and up to three times: “If they touch one, they touch all”, and then finish with a: “And if not, we stam them.”
But that’s not all. In her discharges for the embarrassing reaction against the journalist, the parliamentarian also admitted another questionable fact: to have hired a friend of promotion of her child in her office.
Alcarraz, like many of his colleagues, does not rule out applying for the next Bicameral Congress as deputy or senator.
