He National Election Jury (JNE) called this Monday Judith Laura Rojas to assume the position of congressman of the Republic, replacing Carlos Anderson, died on December 26, 2025, in order to complete the 2021-2026 legislative period.
The measure was formalized through Resolution No. 0004-2026-JNE, which annulled the credential granted to Anderson Ramírez after the 2021 General Elections.
The plenary session of the JNE recalled that on January 5, the vacancy of the seat was declared, in accordance with article 25 of the Congress Regulations, which establishes that, in the event of the death of a legislator, the accessory must be summoned.
The resolution was published in the Legal Standards bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano.

Judith Laura Rojas participated as a candidate for Congress in the 2021 General Elections for We can Peruwith the number 4, and obtained 11,493 votes, a figure that did not allow her to access a seat, but left her registered as an accessory.
Currently, she is a candidate for the Chamber of Deputies of the Bicameral Congress for the 2026 General Elections for Metropolitan Lima, also for Podemos Peru.
According to the JNE Registry of Political Organizations, Rojas has been affiliated with said party since September 9, 2021.
According to his resume, he is a teacher by profession, with a master’s degree in Educational Sciences with a mention in Educational Management from the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education (La Cantuta), and a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
In addition to being a teacher, she has been a cultural promoter at UGEL 6 of Ate, in Lima.
