Two little sisters, ages 13 and 10 respectively, were playing with a firearm they found in their house, escaping a shot that took the life of one of them.
The accident occurred on a farm located at the intersection of Privada Aceituna and Perón streets, in the Las Huertas neighborhood, in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico.
According to the first investigations, the two little sisters were alone in the house, their parents left the firearm in sight and the girls began to handle it when it went off and a projectile hit the 13-year-old.
The Tlaquepaque police do not know where the parents of the two little sisters were.
The State Prosecutor’s Office will be in charge of the corresponding investigation of the case.
The Police Comprehensive Criminal Unit (UCIP) of the San Pedro Tlaquepaque Police Station went to the site, who confirmed that the death of the minor.
