ISR, VAT and IEPS drive collection
The Income Tax Income (ISR) They were 277 thousand 897 million pesos, an increase of 15 thousand 859 million pesos compared to January 2024, with a real growth of 2.4%.
As for the Value Added Tax (VAT), the collection amounted to 145 thousand 366 million pesos, which represents an increase of 20 thousand 871 million pesos and a real growth of 12.7%.
For its part, the Special Tax on Production and Services (IEPS) generated 72 thousand 116 million pesos, with a nominal increase of 1,513 million pesos compared to the previous year.
To continue strengthening the collection, the SAT implemented the 2025 master plan, based on three key axes:
- Taxpayer care to improve voluntary compliance.
- Accompaniment to taxpayers fulfilled with administrative facilities.
- Supervision against evasion and smuggling, with strategies to reduce tax avoidance.
