Now, if the data is observed by cities and metropolitan areas, the Dane found that the cities that had the highest unemployment rate in the second quarter of the year were, in order, Quibdo (26.3%); Riohacha (16.6%); Ibague (15.7%); Florence (15.3%) and Sincelejo (13.1%).

On the other hand, those that presented the lowest data were, in order, Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area (8.4%); Medellin and its metropolitan area (9%); Santa Marta (9.1%); Bogota (10%) and Neiva (10.1%).

If we look at the 32 capital cities, not counting their metropolitan areas, the highest data were found in Arauca (30.5%); Mocoa (27%); Quibdó (26.3%); Puerto Carreno (17.5%) and Riohacha (16.9%).
