Which autonomous bodies would disappear?
The National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI). – Its functions of access to information and protection of personal data are transferred to the Secretariat of Public Service, the control body of the Judicial Branch and the comptroller’s offices of the Congress of the Union. The above would apply at the state level.
The Executive Secretariat of the National Anti-Corruption System.

He Mexican Youth Institute
The Federal Economic Competition Commission (Cofece) – It would be transferred to the Ministry of Economy.
He Federal Institute of Telecommunications (IFT) – Its activities will be transferred to the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communication and Transport.
Energy regulatory bodies:
National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH)
Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE).
In the latter two, the Energy Secretariat would be in charge of technical and economic regulation and the power to impose sanctions in energy and hydrocarbon matters.
The National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy (Coneval) – would be absorbed by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).
The National Commission for the Continuous Improvement of Education (MEJOREDU).
This commission seeks to evaluate and improve the quality of the educational system in Mexico, would be in charge of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP)which could limit independence in the evaluation of educational policies.
What are autonomous bodies?
They are public institutions that do not depend on any of the three branches of government: the executive, the legislative or the judicial. They have functional, budgetary and management autonomy, which allows them to act independently.
Throughout his term in office, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has denounced the functions of several of these organizations and accused them of receiving funds that could easily be used for social programs such as the Welfare Pension, which is why he decided to submit a proposal for constitutional reform.
