When will Thomas Greg's lawsuit against the State over the passport mess resume?

It also mentions that since the suspension of the process was requested by all the parties involved, the office agreed to decree it as of October 4.

That is why the court decided to decree “the suspension of this process, for a period of 60 business days, a period that will run from October 4, 2024 to January 23, 2025“.

Thomas Greg’s complaint

Thomas Greg & Sons, which has been responsible for the issuance of passports in Colombia for the last few years, sued the Colombian State for 117,000 million pesosafter the Foreign Ministry, then headed by Alvaro Leyvadeclared void the tender for the issuance of passports in which the firm met all the requirements to retain the contract.

This determination cost Leyva a sanction from the Attorney General’s Office and, in the midst of his suspension, the President Gustavo Petro ended up appointing as chancellor Luis Gilberto Murillowho was Colombia’s ambassador to the United States.
