Tourism week will begin on Sunday, April 2 and end on Sunday, April 9.

Although 2023 has just begun, there is no shortage of Uruguayans who want to know which days they will be able to rest during the year. Just as there are certain holidays that will generate long weekends, Tourism Week is also a date to review in the annual calendar.
Lhe Tourism week will begin on Sunday, April 2 and end on Sunday, April 9.. Both Thursday April 6 and Friday April 7 are holidays but workable.
For Christians it is Holy Week, which begins with Palm Sunday until it ends with Easter Sunday, when the resurrection of Christ is celebrated.
On the other hand in 2023there are several non-working holidays that will generate long weekends.
The holidays for Three Kings, Carnival and May 1for example, fall in shifts that generate more rest days.
