SUCIVE released a payment schedule and what discounts there are
The Congress of Mayors approved the amounts to be paid, which will vary depending on the year of the vehicle. There is a bonus if you pay in a single installment.
The Single Vehicle Income Collection System (SUCIVE) published the schedule of the six installments to pay the 2025 vehicle registration fee, after its approval in the Congress of Mayors.
If the vehicle owner pays the license fee in a single installment before January 20, the discount will be 20%.
Likewise, for those who pay in installments, if they pay within the scheduled dates of each one, they will receive a 10% bonus. You can pay both in person and digitally through the SUCIVE website.
Expirations throughout the year are scheduled for January 20, March 20, May 20, July 21, September 22 and November 20.
Regarding patent prices, SUCIVE indicated that the tax system will be the same as in 2024.
This means that owners of zero kilometer cars must pay 5% of the market value updated by the Autodata price table, less VAT. Meanwhile, those who have vehicles registered since 1992 correspond to 4.5% of the market value less VAT.
Cars and trucks before 1975 do not pay a license fee. Those registered between 1976 and 1980 have a fixed value of $2,804; For those patented between 1981 and 1985 the price is $4,206. Meanwhile, the cars that were registered in the period from 1986 to 1991 have a value of $8,412. “No vehicle model 1992 or later will be taxed less than the current value for the 1986/1991 band” reads the minutes of the Congress of Mayors on the subject.
In the case of electric vehicles, the tax is 2.25% of the market value; In the event that they are zero kilometers, it will be without VAT.
