To face the possible mass deportations, announced by the next president of the United States, Donald Trump, the Mexican government will allocate whatever is necessary
for the protection of compatriots in the neighboring country, said President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
When referring to the actions of the federal government, before anything that happens with the arrival of President Trump
the head of the federal Executive explained that “we do not hire a lawyer by lawyer, but rather law firms that help defend the Mexicans who are there.
We are going to allocate whatever is necessary to support our brothers and sisters who are in the United States.
Sheinbaum Pardo stressed in his morning conference. Two weeks before the start of Trump’s new term, he highlighted that, in addition, there are volunteer networks in that country, made up of migrants who are lawyers.
As another of the actions that will be promoted, he mentioned, there will be the dissemination of information so that, in case they come to knock on your house, we don’t think it will go that far, but, well, that you have all the information; that they will arrive at their workplace, what they should do, how they should deal with a situation like this and where they should call

To do this, the call center installed in Tucson, with which they are provided care. Likewise, the launch of an application with that same objective is planned.
Meanwhile, in reference to the 36th Meeting of Ambassadors and Consuls, which was inaugurated yesterday by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, the President explained that she will attend tomorrow with the Mexican diplomats, to review the support for fellow nationals in abroad through consulates, and the defense of the nation project

He asked his compatriots to report if they were not attended to at the consulates and called on the heads of these instances to hold public hearings once a week to learn about the needs of the migrants.
Regarding the attention to Mexicans outside the country, he announced that he will propose to the National Electoral Institute (INE) to expedite the delivery of credentials for migrants. He indicated that on a recent work tour in Puebla, they explained to him the difficulty many of them had in voting in the elections for that reason.
