What will the bonus that the Mined will provide to preschool, first and second grade students be used for?

The authorities of the Ministry of Education, through social networks, announced that the delivery of economic bonuses, which in recent years has only been for high school students, this 2025 will be extended to preschool, first and second grade students, in order to that these funds be used for the purchases of school supplies.

The spokesperson for the Sandinista Front and vice-dictator of Nicaragua, Rosario Murillo, in her speech in official media, detailed that the amount of the bonus that will be delivered to each student enrolled in those levels will be 2,000 córdobas.

«All girls and boys in preschool, first, second grade, in all modalities, will receive a bonus, the parents, of 2,000 córdobas each, for the purchase, to the taste of the child and the parents, of mothers, for school supplies,” said Murillo.

In addition, he assured that the number of minors benefiting from said bonus is at least 500,000.

The delivery of these bonuses to the minors who will attend preschool, first and second grade in 2025 replaces the usual delivery of backpacks and school supplies that the Mined made year after year.

According to Murillo, the idea of the change is so that parents can choose backpacks and notebooks according to the taste of the minor or themselves.

In previous years, the Mined delivered backpacks of varied colors and designs, but they always had the logo of that ministry and some slogan related to the Government party, in the case of last year it was “Victorious Hopes”, in an open partisan campaign, because they are the same semantic operators of the FSLN, driven by the speeches of Rosario Murillo herself.

Completing a uniform and school supplies for a minor in these grades, according to reports from the same official media, would be impossible with only 2,000 córdobas. The publications state that at least 1,200 córdobas are required just for the purchase of a uniform, including shoes, shirt, skirt or pants, socks or socks, camisoles or camisoles.

In addition to that, one must include the costs for backpacks that range from 350 to more than 3,000 córdobas, notebooks that cost from 35 to 150 córdobas per unit if purchased by dozens, and another dozen necessary items such as pencils, pens, pads. , colors, erasers, dictionaries, cardboard, a variety of papers and colored sheets, among others.

The Mined and Murillo, until the publication of this report, did not clarify what budget item the fund for the delivery of these bonds will come from, which taking into account the data offered by Murillo, amounts to more than 1,000 million córdobas, that is, more than 27 million dollars.

The deliveries of these bonuses, in the case of those received by thousands of high school graduates, have been used by the Sandinista regime to carry out political proselytization and award said action to the Sandinista Front, even causing videos in which minors appear saying: “Thanks to Commander Daniel (Ortega), to colleague Rosario (Murillo), for this bonus.”
