Fireflies: stars on earth

The invitation is to be part of a special workshop where you can replicate the home of some luminous insects: fireflies. In this space, through the creation of terrariums, practical advice will be given to bring the natural landscape closer to homes; reflecting on the environmental problems faced by wildlife in urban areas and the need to create wildlife-friendly spaces.

Kusifreya – The apprentice fairy: Family Matinee with the Chimilingos group

An apprentice fairy is sent to planet Earth to fulfill an important mission: find a broken heart, find out what its damage is, and help repair it. A rusty cat will give you clues, Mrs. Stone will tell you some stories, Grandpa Tree will guide her and the little caterpillar will give you some advice.

Altar of the Dead. Encounters through ritual

Thanks to the collaboration of the Embassy of Mexico in Ecuador, this exhibition can be visited at the Museo del Carmen Alto. The opportunity allows you to discover the meaning of the multiple elements that make up the altar of the dead, which come from pre-Hispanic societies and Catholic customs.

Place: Convent of Carmen Alto

Date: Wednesday to Sunday

Time: from 09:00 to 17:30 (last entry at 16:30).

Admission: $ 3 for adults, $ 2 students with a card (12 years and older), $ 1.50 for girls and boys (3 to 11 years). Seniors, people with disabilities and infants (under 3 years old) do not pay entry.
