The Indec reported that those who did not perform the 2022 census via the Internet and at the same time they did not receive a visit from a census taker at their home on Wednesday, they will have to notify the Indec of that situation. The mechanism will be through email [email protected] or the national freephone 0800-345-2022.

“According to the planning agreed upon in the National Statistical System, from May 19 to 22 next, the recovery stage will be carried out so that the entire population is correctly accounted for,” INDEC reported this Wednesday afternoon.

After a census day with broad participation of the population, which began at 8 a.m. and ended at 6 p.m., the INDEC reported what will be the procedure that must be completed in those cases in which a home visit from a census taker was not received and no digital survey was completed.

What to include in the email

Those who send an e-mail to [email protected] will have to put the subject “I was not registered”. And in the body of the email they must state:

– Name and surname

– Province

– Party/Department

– Location

– Street

– Number

– Floor and apartment (if it is horizontal property)

– Email

– Contact telephone number (include area code, and if it is landline or cell phone)

Meanwhile, during a press conference given this afternoon, the head of Indec, Marco Lavagnea, highlighted “the quality of the (census) operation we have had so far” and said that “in general terms it is being very successful.”

“We know that we may still have some unregistered housing, (but) we will attend to those cases,” the official said.
