President Luis Abinader will take a tour of the Dominican-Haitian border this Thursday, April 24, covering four provinces from North to South, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre.
The Head of State will visit the border walls, starting in Dajabón at 11 in the morning from where he will offer statements to the media and then lead the beginning of the reforestation process of the border area.

Subsequently, the president will go to Elías Piña, then to Jimaní and culminate in Pedernales. There he will visit several hotels, in Cabo Rojo.
This day will take place in a context in which President Abinader’s government reinforces the measures for irregular immigration control and strengthens national sovereignty.
