The renowned American fuel and lubricant brand Gulf has announced the opening of a new service station in Chile, which will be located in Pichilemu, in the O’Higgins region. This place, known for its tourist attraction on the Central Coast, was strategically chosen by Gulf, which operates in the country under the administration of the Cabal Group. With this new opening, the brand seeks to consolidate itself in the Chilean market, adding this station to those that already exist in cities such as Temuco, Rancagua and Viña del Mar.
The expansion of Gulf in Chile is part of a growth plan that aims to strengthen its presence in Latin America. The company has expressed its interest in settling permanently in the country, expanding its network of service stations to be a benchmark in the fuel sector. As reported by Luciano Pitaro himself, General Manager of Gulf Oil International in South America, the new station in Pichilemu symbolizes the brand’s commitment to the Chilean market and its mission to offer high quality service.
In addition to the station in Pichilemu, Gulf is also contemplating the opening of other locations in the country, with a special focus on the Metropolitan region. This would mark its first foray into Santiago, which is planned for the coming months. In this way, the brand aspires to expand its reach in urban and rural sectors, promoting balanced growth in different areas of the national territory.
The general manager of Combustibles Cabal, Micael Kohn, expressed his optimism about the impact that these new stations will have on local communities, contributing to the economic development of the areas in which they will be present. According to Kohn, Gulf stations will not only offer fuel services, but will also contribute to jobs and infrastructure growth in the different regions of Chile.
Gulf’s expansion in the country is aligned with a long-term vision that includes international quality services and products. This not only represents an opportunity for consumers to access a new fuel alternative, but also reflects the brand’s interest in making Chile a key market within its Latin American strategy. Gulf thus positions itself as a relevant competitor in the sector, projecting its network of stations to cover more and more strategic points.
