The National Police, through the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), carried out various operations in the last 24 hours in different sectors of the National District, managing to seize illicit substances and reaffirming its commitment to the fight against drug trafficking and organized crime.
In the sector Villa FranciscaAlvin José Pérez García (a) El Campe, 27, who operated a drug sales and distribution point, was arrested. At the time of his arrest, a package was seized with 158 portions of marijuana (125 grams), 15 portions of crack (5.1 grams) and 650 pesos in cash.
In the 27 de Febrero sector, agents arrested Alexander Martínez Canela, 22, who tried to escape when he noticed the police presence. During his capture, a backpack containing two portions of marijuana, one portion of crack, one portion of cocaine, a digital scale and 450 pesos in cash was seized.

For his part, in the María Auxiliadora sector, Jan Carlo Mañón Suriel, alias “Caucho”, was arrested, accused of being responsible for a point of sale of controlled substances. 57 portions of marijuana, one portion of crack, a digital scale and a cell phone were confiscated.
Additionally, in a second operation in Villa Francisca, agents found a basket containing a bale of marijuana and two additional portions of the same substance at a drug point that, according to investigations, belonged to an individual known as “Buchu.”
The seized substances were delivered to the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) for the corresponding legal purposes, while the detainees will be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry to face the charges against them.
