These processes are carried out after having completed the national public bidding procedures and their corresponding awards, with an investment of 21,000 million pesos.

According to an Expert Technical Report of the inabiethe tenders complementary due to the fact that several lots were declared void, due to faults, omissions, non-compliance with technical requirements, errors or omissions in the presentation of economic offers and resignation of awards by suppliers.

The report also explains that the Ministry of Education, after the completion of the processes of the School Food Program (PAE), started a technical table with the purpose of inabie and analyzed the requests from various educational centers to be included in the delivery of the school breakfast within the EAP.

“As a result of this initiative, the educational centers that qualify for said program were identified and included in order to guarantee the access of boys and girls to decent and nutritious school meals,” says the expert report.

The bidding for bread and cookies is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (Mipymes) of national production, in the North, South, East and Metropolitan Regions.
