What happened to Marian Izaguirre?
The young woman left her family home in Uruapán, Michoacán, on September 1. According to the search file published by Alerta Michoacán, Marian left her home around 6:00 p.m. and left for a Kia Río Red model car. After that he had no contact with his family again.
Marian’s disappearance was reported to the authorities by her family on September 2, so she began her search. It was found on September 5 at a hotel in Morelia, capital of Michoacán, however, it was found in a serious state of health, without at the time the Prosecutor’s Office detail the type of damage presented by the young woman.
The paramedics who transferred her to the Women’s Hospital in Morelia went to the place, where she remained hospitalized for several days. A vehicle owned by Marian was also recovered at the hotel.
The governor of Michoacán said that the young woman voluntarily came out of Uruapan to take refuge in a hotel, where she was found “in a very delicate state of health.”
“The state of health is critical and is being investigated, everything points to a situation of domestic violence that caused her to make the decision to leave Uruapan and we are now doing everything to save her life,” said the official on September 8 at a press conference.
However, Marian was declared with brain death on August 12. According to the governor of Michoacán, the death of the young woman was due to suicide, however, he clarified that it will be the State Prosecutor’s Office that will give details about the motives of death.
“We have all the investigation, it is a situation of domestic violence and what happened is very unfortunate. It is a suicide, but derived from a subject that the Prosecutor’s Office will report,” said Ramírez Bedolla when questioned by the media after Marian’s death.
For his part, the Attorney General of Michoacán, Carlos Torres Piña, said before media that there are letters left by the young woman as posthumous messages.
Marian Izaguirre was born on November 13, 2001. Like many young people, he began to create Tiktok content between 2020 and 2021-during Pandemia by COVID-19-with dance videos, although over time he directed his platform towards content on lifestyle, fashion and comedy.
His last videos were uploaded in his Tiktok profile on August 28, in which he recreated the trend of ‘Liast Ojitos’, reinterpreted by people on social networks from the film ‘Chicuarotos’, directed by Gael García.
