What is expected from the adjustment in the parity: the increases would be above 50%, according to the unions

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security convened this week 26 unions and their respective sectoral chambers to begin negotiations for the parity. The goal is to resolve in the shortest time possible, due to the effect of inflation.

The price increases registered so far this year have severely affected the pockets of the population that claims salary adjustments urgently. Although last year the parity they regained some points of purchasing power.

The construction sector would be one of those that could achieve a better adjustment.

In January, the private sector managed to get parity will outpace inflation, but In February, with the 4.6% rise in prices and a possible variation of 6% in March, salaries were below the salary increases achieved.
